Who is this event for?

Businesses, workers, volunteers and members of the community who have, or might have, contact with lonely people but who are not sure what they can do to help.

Businesses might want to send their staff along to access training, as well as to improve customer and public relations by proactively engaging in a CSR activity. Network with other like minded businesses and organisations, and engage with local organisations and the local community.

Volunteers and workers might want to come along to increase confidence and gain some new skills in approaching situations with potentially lonely people. The event will also provide volunteers and workers with information about schemes which may benefit the people they work with.

Anyone else who might have contact with isolated and lonely members of the community, and who would like some support with this, is also very welcome!
